In life, as in art,

The Beautiful Moves In Curves

Introducing Radara™

Radara™ stands for skin radiance and beauty (Adara is Greek for beautiful). The essence behind this luxury product is the perfect combination of nature and science; giving skin back its natural hydration, support and luminosity – as well as reducing fine lines and wrinkles which can build up over time.

The Radara™ skincare system consists of rejuvenating micro-channelling patches and high purity hyaluronic acid (HA) serum to restore skin quality and diminish signs of ageing. This innovative, targeted and painless approach delivers smoother, firmer skin with reduced lines and wrinkles with results visible as early as two weeks, and best results being seen at four weeks.

With Radara™, you are in control: it is intended for use in the comfort of your own home, giving you a gradual build-up of results for luminous, renewed skin with no stark changes, discomfort or ‘downtime’.

Due to the unique qualities of the micro-channelling technology, Radara™ is only available to buy through selected medical aesthetic clinics, where qualified practitioners can provide guidance on how to use the product safely and effectively to gain the best possible results. Radara™ is a unique skincare system which delivers smoother, firmer skin with reduced lines and wrinkles in just four weeks. The natural, pure HA serum restores lost hydration, elasticity and support, giving skin a brighter and fresher appearance. By replenishing and rejuvenating the skin from the inside out, Radara’s innovative, highly effective micro-channelling technology can complement and enhance your existing skincare regime.

Radara™ has been dermatologically tested in an 8-week independently assessed trial by clinical dermatologists. The results showed an average reduction of 35% in fine lines and wrinkles in four weeks and noticeable improvements in just two weeks (depending on starting skin condition). In addition, the combination of Radara™ patches and HA serum was shown to be almost twice as effective at reducing fine lines and wrinkles compared to using the serum alone.

Radara™ has been designed, developed and manufactured in the UK, with research directed by leading skincare advisors based at the state-of-the-art Institute of Life Science at Swansea University.

Hyaluronic Acid & Skin Ageing

Over time, the natural internal cycles which replenish our skin cells begin to slow down, resulting in a loss of hydration and support which can appear as dullness, fine lines and wrinkles. One of the main reasons why skin loses that youthful glow is because as we age, we produce less hyaluronic acid (HA) meaning our skin can lose its natural elasticity, hydration and support. HA is like nature’s own plumping molecule – it is a naturally occurring sugar found in the body. By replenishing HA levels, skin health can be restored, bringing back radiance and smoothing away fine lines and wrinkles which may have developed over time.

Skin is made up of three layers: the epidermis (outermost layer), the dermis (inner layer) and the subcutaneous layer. It designed as a natural barrier, intended to keep out harmful elements and protect the delicate functions of your body – however this barrier also means that most of the time, it keeps out the useful ingredients in skin creams! Active ingredients in skincare products that are applied to the skin surface only penetrate the very top few layers of the epidermis and cannot reach down to the level of the stratum corneum, where they are needed to effect skin renewal, hydration and collagen formation.

This is where Radara’s unique micro-channelling approach comes in: the innovative ultra-thin patches provide a direct route through the skin barrier, allowing the high-grade HA serum to penetrate to the deeper skin levels where it is most needed. How Radara™ Works

The Radara™ skincare system consists of ultra-thin, flexible micro-channelling patches along with a high-grade pure hyaluronic acid serum.

The cleverly shaped, flexible patches are coated with microscopic plastic structures (similar to needles) less than half a millimetre in length.  They feel bumpy to the touch and are not sharp or painful at all. When applied to the skin, these patches painlessly create hundreds of tiny micro-channels in the epidermis.

Radara’s specially-formulated serum containing pure hyaluronic acid (HA) is then applied and flows through the newly-created micro-channels to the deeper skin layers where it is needed most. Here, the HA serum restores the skin’s natural elasticity, hydration and support – giving a smoother, firmer feel as well as gently reducing signs of ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles.

Most topical creams only work at the surface level, using light refractors and other effects to give the illusion of improved look and feel. This is where Radara™ is different – it works deep within the skin, bringing real changes from the inside out by directly improving skin cell renewal and hydration. What’s more, the Radara™ serum is fragrance-free and has no unnecessary ingredients, just a high concentration of natural HA to restore your skin to its former glory.

How to Use Radara™

Radara™ is recommended for use once per day, ideally in the evening as part of your normal nightly skincare routine.

Step 1

First, cleanse skin thoroughly to remove any dirt, make-up and oil.

Step 2

Remove the specially-shaped patches from the box, ensuring you use the correct-shaped patch for each side of your face, as marked on the packaging.

Step 3

Gently apply the appropriate patch to each outer eye area for a few seconds to create the micro-channels. Don't push too hard - just lay a finger gently on the patch surface and smooth over once or twice
NOTE: the patches are not meant to adhere to your skin at this stage.

Step 4

Remove the patches from each eye area and lay face-up on the packaging, while you apply the HA serum.

Step 5

Use the separate pump dispenser to apply one pump of serum onto a clean finger and smooth over the prepared skin around each eye area.

Step 6

Re-apply the appropriate patch to each outer eye area and leave in place for five minutes to ensure the HA penetrates through the micro-channels to where it is most needed
NOTE: the patches should now hold nicely to your skin, however try to keep your face as still as possible to avoid them becoming dislodged.

Q: Does hyaluronic acid cause any side effects?

Q: Does hyaluronic acid cause any side effects?

HA is a well-known skincare ingredient which has been used for a number of years. While there is always a potential risk of side-effects with any skincare product, it is unlikely that HA will cause a specific skin reaction. In the unlikely event of any skin reactions or side-effects from Radara™, please contact your aesthetic practitioner as soon as possible.

Q: Can Radara patches be used with other creams and serums?

Q: Can Radara patches be used with other creams and serums?

No, we do not recommend using the Radara patches to boost the effect of any other topical products, due to the complex additives such as dyes or fragrances used.

Q: Do the microneedles on the Radara™ patches damage the skin?

Q: Do the microneedles on the Radara™ patches damage the skin?

No. The plastic structures on the Radara™ patches are less than half a millimetre long and are specifically designed to gently create micro-channels into the skin, down to the layer of the stratum corneum. These micro-channels quickly heal, meaning that Radara™ can be used on a daily basis for a number of weeks.

Q: How is Radara™ made?

Q: Do the microchannels make it easy to get skin infections?

Q: Do the microchannels make it easy to get skin infections?

As with anything that penetrates through the upper skin layers, we recommend ensuring that the area is thoroughly cleaned before using Radara™ and that clean fingers are used to apply the HA serum to minimise any potential risk of a skin infection. In the unlikely event of any skin infections or side-effects from Radara™, please contact your aesthetic practitioner as soon as possible.

Q: Will there be Radara patches for other face and body areas?

Q: Will there be Radara patches for other face and body areas?

Thanks to the innovative micro-channelling technology and patented manufacturing method, Radara® flexible patches could be created to suit a number of facial and body areas, such as under-eye, forehead, upper lips and décolletage. We will be looking into developing Radara® products for these areas in the next few years.
